i got a metro engine in my mini, now ive been driving it around with one of 92's supercharger kits on but my speedo doesnt work, Now im sure it was pushed into the gearbox properly but i can turn it at the speedo end so it obviously isnt connected right

i dont want to have to pull everything out again to check cos i just got it running mint so....
i assumed the metro speedo drive was the same as a mini? am i right?

any hints or tips on changing it without pulling everything apart again?

cheers

hahaha tried that already lol, pulled the borrom extra mount off ect... my hands are still too damn big, wish i was still 10, i had to do the same job on my dads mini and had the perfect hands to do so

ive got the cable out of the sleeve when i push it back down and twist it i cant feel it even trying to line up in the slot.... which is why i was wondering if the metro is maby a bigger drive

use a long flathead screwdriver and a hammer, and tap the speedo cable "nut" loose

be persistent, it may take awhile.

i think getting the radiator in and out is more trouble than the speedo cable itself

You can remove one of the slats in the inner guard to make it easier to get at...

havnt started it yet, read on turbo minis that metro drives are bigger than mini drives so my cable wont be any good anyway - can any one confirm?

if this is the case to hell with it im getting a digi speedo to run off the hub, will look pretty damn flash lol
