This is now my SC project thread-
Scrap that manifold. Need to figure something else out. Palyed around some more this evening.
I may have an interesting find for you Moke/Clubby owners too. Pics in a short while.
I was toying with this idea before, but the dip stick would have been upside down, and drain plug in the wrong place. After seeing the car in the classifieds with the SC mounted different then the kit available, I realized the charger can be flipped, and the gear housing cover flipped as well (It look like there's a cover out there that will this the rightway, different SC12's had different gear housing covers, mine bolts up, but it misses 4 bolts holes).
Since it's flipped, now I can use the mounting points to secure it using the stock generator bracket mounts seems work good. Fit pretty good, but will need some spacers and stronger brackets. Alignment of the pulley shouldn't be at all tough either. The charger should just barely clear the oil filter mount. I plan to run a remote filter, so my bracket will be even smaller than stock.
I had received some of the piping and the TB off the Toyota when I bought the SC. So I decided to see if any of it could be saved. Looks like the pipe on the front of the charger will work as my inlet with a little cutting. The other pipe on the block side will be cut up so I can use the flange for a new pipe. Once I get a little better fitting pipe I should be able to move the charger about 1" closer to the block. This pipe will either wrap around the head, or go directly over the head to my plenum/intake manifold.

Update again
Tried another route- I'll have to build a little bracket to mount the charger this way though(still using the gen. mounts) and the charger will be the tensioner for the system.
By running it this way, it tucks the charger in about 3-4 more inches closer than the other way I tried it. It's nice to have the old Toyota pipes. Actually kind of give a good idea or where things can go.
