I believe it required some hand rubbing with 2000grit sandpaper to get rid of the roughness, then it was buffed with the dremel..

I had to use a sanding bit on the dremel to get it flat as it has dimples all over it. Then i dry sanded it with 120 grit by hand, then 800 grit wet and dry, then 1200 grit wet. Then back with the dremel with polishing bit and metal polish.

Thanks dude, not sure how well i'll pull off the dash though :lol: :?

Good news is the auto leccy is creating a new front loom on the 13/14th Jan, then on the 16 or 17th it goes in to get the computer done and it shouldn't be too long after that! :)
