lol... referring to this bit:

A set of gusset plates which will have to be welded to the subframe.

they'd be bracing plates for the tie bars.... I guess they expect the brakes to work so well that they rip the tie bar mounts apart

Its not a bad idea really, considering that the mounting points were originally designed for single leading shoe drums and skinny creoss ply tires :shock: Its basically all that is stopping the hubs from rotating with the wheel.

- or has there been strengthening up grades to the subframes since the early days? :?
