Not so bad mate...well....its actually quite good. Got to remember you can't really do these things too quickly. Humans are prone to mistakes when rushed.

i did most of the fabrication after work the only day i get stuff done is on a sunday for a couple of hours while my daughter is having a nap

the last three weeks has been good ive had the whole day to get things done

i think this conversion could be done in a solid week of work

i wanted to be done in 12 months...i probably could still do it...but i am considering options which kinda blow the crap out of my original budget...and...this could mean 2yrs worth of spare cash rather than 1 :P

yeah mine hasnt been registered for YONKS...i know thats the cardinal rule with minis (ie. never let it get out of registration :P) but i just couldnt be arsed by the end :P and just kept it up the back of the garage collecting dust with a grand plan floating around in the back of my head...sold the 'lude and cleared out the garage...thats more or less where i was 4months ago...

i am in no HUGE hurry i spose...i wanna get it right first time and given i have fairly little experience in this field this is gonna take alot of research and thinking and asking of stupid questions here :)

my main problem is that i HATE compromising...as soon as i find out there's something better i just cant be satisfied with what i've got...unless the better thing costs WAAAAY more...but anyway...this mentality tends to blow fairly well-laid, conservative budgets outta the water :) for example...this shocks issue...i COULD just go with Gaz or Spax or some crap like that...that prolly wouldnt be bad at all...but then i found out that for a bit more i could go Ohlins...and now...gaz and spax are like bad words :P

Fortunately, shocks are one of the last things you will need to buy and prevent you from starting to cut!!!!
