My 3/70 mk2 has it fitted on the slam panel and my 4/71has it near the master cylinders.

Didn't "BMC" as the company name change to "British Leyland Motor Corp. long before the Mk2?

Many things changed at different times. If you look at ADR plates the British Leyland started with the rectangle plates in Dec 1970. The steering wheel badge change was apparently Oct 1970.

These stickers were used at least into 8/1973.

That fits my car. It is Sept 70 and has the BMC steering wheel
