I believe so. They don't toss blades off either.

And if they get bent, can be straightened.

I tried both it and the yellow plastic one. The plastic was way noisier. So I went back to the mk1 16 blade metal one.
Isn't the tropical 4 or 6 blade supposed to be the noisy one?

Yes the four blade is very noisy as well! but the 16 blade makes a whiny noise that just grates on me..........
