I saw this posted of a Facebook site and the responses were very confusing. The owner said it was one of the first wind down window minis in the country. I am thinking a late 850 that has had an engine transplant, re registered 3 years after originally sold and badged as a deluxe.

YMA2S1-5-3093 = a late Mini 850 YMA2S1 53093 around Oct 1964?
9WRUH 16075 = 998cc engine from a Wolseley Hornet or Riley Elf?
ETU064 = NSW rego from 1968?

G'day GTOGreen, this one is a tin of worms, but I'm pretty sure the ETU rego is from 1967, as I recall us buying two cars in early 1968 where the plate numerals went back to starting with an "A", & in 1966 my Mum bought a new car ENT, so 1967 seems to fit?

Any ideas on what the car is? I am presuming a late 850. Badged as a deluxe with a Hornet/Elf motor.

After 50+ years anything is possible. I once bought a deseamed Deluxe with a 998A+ Rover motor in.

I think they said the rego receipt is from the late 60's.

If we assume the build number is correct at YMA2S1 53093 this would make it September 64 model. The correct engine should have been around 8Y/U/H 12600.
The current engine, at the date of the rego papers, number 9WR/U/H is interesting in that 9WR is definitely a 998cc Rilet Elf engine, someone has updated the 848cc to 998cc.
I replaced the plates on my first car early in 1969 and they were ARW, a chap I went to school with had an Anglia which was registered ESS in 1968

Back then if you bought a NEW block or motor from BMC it had NO stamped numbers. I bought 2, a 997 block, and a Morris 1100S 1275 short motor.
I'd say someone's fitted a S/H Riley elf motor sometime after original registration., before 1967.
