My locking caps have all leaked, and looking at the stains on my latest, its from the key hole.
Maybe I just corner too fast?

I just noticed today that mine was leaking through the keyhole too.

Good news!! The non locking style cap has solved the leak problem - but revealed another :( Filled it to the brim today and took the mini for a squirt on my local back roads - no fuel smell - now replaced with rotten egg gas...

OK so I got mad today and flung the RH POS locking cap that wouldn't ever seal. :x It's now got a non locking one, it leaks too but not as bad..
Anybody running Aston style caps, how do they seal? I want something that doesn't rely on the original neck lip, which on my RH tank is pretty shagged.
:?: :?

These are nice (but pricey), I don't think they lock though. Some ******** would probably souvenir them when parked..

$119USD! Forget it!!!

I'd prefer to leak $160 worth of fuel than spend that much on another "less" leaky cap!

It really sux how much society has deteriorated over the last 15 years  The fact that you can't have something nice without some little crap trying to steal it or destroy it makes me sick, even in a realatively low crime area like mine every time we leave a stainless steel Ubolt/shackle on the boat trailers safety chain at the boat ramp you can guarantee it won't be there when you get back.
When I was living in Sydney we couldn't even leave a garden hose in the front yard without some punk cutting it up for a bong stem

Ok,

My B4 Liberty import had to be ADR'd with the small nozzle filler hole. The engineer had a screw in unleaded fitting the he fitted and believe me it sealed. My tanks seal well as any nics on the seal rim I soldered up then polished flat.

My 2 bits
