Holy smoke. You have been busy! They look too good to use.

Put the windscreen back in the 997. After years of persevering with a home made tool I finally coughed up the seven bucks for a proper tool :) Made short work of it!

I showed my car to someone who wants to buy it.

Argh! Conflicted. Sell and regret or hold and.... Well it hasn't been registered for 2 years.

Ha Ha Ha, you won't need to find welding goggles for your 'assistant', you'll have to go looking for your 'assistants' hiding spot.
As soon I put on my welding helmet my faithful assistant does a runner.......I think it's the sound of the 'sizzling bacon' and hot welding spatter he's not too keen on!

Cheers Shane

Changed a set of plugs. However the real joy today was racing my '65 Mk1 at the One Tree Hill Hillclimb at Ararat in the final round of the 2014 Victorian Hillclimb Championship.

A great day had by all

Electrical work - Plugged the old tweeters into the sound system after I found the crossover boards lurking in the old Mk-1 that has been parked up for a number of years. Connected the LED idiot lights on the dash so they tell me if I have high beam on or not. Yeah, like I wouldn't know anyway! Still couldn't get the indicators to work with the LED idiot lights though. Re-wired the little flashing LED to the dash to remind me if my alarm is on.

Bought a new battery today for the clubman, the last one weighed in at 19.2kg, the new one 6.8kg with the mounting bracket, the clubbie has been on a bit of a diet lately, I've got some carbon panels arriving in the coming weeks, can't wait!

I reamed the new bushes I've pressed into the Cooper S rockers today. I've had them sitting aside for a while, but I just received the rocker shaft in the mail earlier, so I can clear my bench of another side project..
