Must be the time for it as I did my first one as well! Big issues with mine. The retainer that holds the layshaft had broken allowing it to float. Broken bits of roller bearing scored the layshaft. Ruined the crankshaft as well. :(
So dug out another crank. Have had it all machined and polished and putting new everything through the motor.
Need to get a bearing kit for the gearbox now!

I went through a similar problem a couple of years ago..... Spun a centre crank bearing during a club sprint and bits went through the whole motor. I feel your pain. :/

The mini is doing daily driver duty this week. 70km return each day!

(It's pretty cold driving after 6pm when it's windy and the windows don't seal!)

Unpacked my minispares order. The prettiest part was the chrome twin washer jets.

The worst part is when you have to turn the fan on to stop it fogging up...
like its not cold enough already!

took out the racing harness it had when I bought it and fitted some retractable seat belts !

Not that exciting but makes it look a lot more neat.

I don't have a fan.

Or heater.

I was lucky to have left a scarf and beanie in the door pocket!

Gave my badge a little spruce up after seeing others doing it. Pretty happy with it. Quick and cheap and makes it look good now.

I like that boot liner too. Very neat & more importantly it covers the battery terminals/wiring.
