Prepped and primered the roof for the last time. Sat in the shed with the radio on sucking back a coldy wishing I lived on a big property so I could keep working into the night.... damn neighbors with their new born. ...

Bled my clutch & put shiny new stickers on the doors so it goes faster. Stickers are from 'I Say Ding Dong'. Looks like a rally car now!
After the hassles with the clutch master cylinder not priming, I'm not looking forward to bleeding the brakes.
Continued working on the aero blanking plate under the engine bay & measured the ground clearance of the air-dam so I can adjust it to match the ground clearance of the sub-frame. Measured & marked the rear wing end-plates for trimming to ensure the're road legal. Sat on my huge veranda overlooking my big property & enjoyed the birdsong. Wished the mozzies would go away though. >:S

Finished making my `bush version' of the outrigger bearing ring removal tool. It works too.
Pics and details tomorrow...

[edit] Pics and details are now up, see separate thread.

I was at a local bearing and seal shop and found some seals similar to the banjo seals in the SU electric fuel pump so I brought them to give them a try, replaced the seals plumbed it up outside the vehicle and powered it up... hhhmmm no luck they are still leaking I think I'll have to wait for karcraft to get them back in stock in 6 weeks as other local shops that have them are charging silly prices for postage for 3 little seals that fit in a standard envelope.

On the plus side it gave me an excuse to start it again, my wife thinks the engine sounds to big for a mini, my exhaust finishes at the extractors.

After two years of sitting looking at my 76 Clubbie sat under a tarp on my driveway I finally got it uncovered and mounted on a rotisserie, ready to start attacking the rust.

Wish me luck...

sand blasted the inside of the tail gate and sanded the out side after discovering a large amount of body filler. anyway stuck with the sanding and was pleasantly surprised to find no rust, just a bad filler job to cover an dent. happy with that.

Received a package from karcraft, gotta love new bits!

Gave my clutch master the once over and replaced the slave with a new one, bleed and flushed the system, I now have a moving clutch. My pedal is heavy though, I think the hose might failed internally, might be time to replace the hose.
