Is anyone aware of any legally registered Twiniminis, or know of anyone who has tried this, or has some engineering details?

There was one in SA with twin 1275 automatics in it. Pics were in a Mini Magic issue.
Back in the late 60's there was one in Wollongong, NSW with 2 998 Coopers in it.

I helped a guy build one in 1968/9 but it never got finished to hit the street. Long story. :wink:
Basically you fit a complete FWD assembly into the back, (with tie rods attached to the subframe), then you need to sort out the gearshifts, clutches and throttles.
