What I would really like is to talk to anyone that's seen it in the "steel" and can tell me anything different about the moke body.
Even better would be to talk to the guy who built the actual car.
Currently I've got my moke shell on the hoist above a Suzuki sierra chassis and drive train and it doesn't seem to be lining up as well as I was hoping :?

From what I can see the green one has not had any mods to the firewall. It also looks like the dizzy has been moved compared to my engine.
And the rear shocks are in a different position to my chassis.

Is the chassis under the green moke a LWB sierra? what is the measurement between the hubs?
What year, make and model chassis was used?

I REALLY WANT MORE INFO PLEASE....ANYTHING :roll:

He (and his father) have done the same thing, not sure if it's an identical car, but should be helpful none the less

Saw same car in Wagga last year. Owner would be a member of the Riverena branch of the NSWMCC I imagine.

EDIT: pretty sure the entire chassis is custom built.

Very well built, and yes it has independent rear wheel steering.

I can... thats me :)

Moke body, not alot heavy mods, essentially the body is just welded to the chassis as mentioned it does have independent rear steering, which is controlled by a tiny toggle switch under the drivers seat, obviously suspension and what not is all a custom set up. Ill ask on the Moke Forum how to get in contact if you'd like?

DAM IT :evil: Looking at the others (black one and the yellow one) things are going to be a lot more difficult that imagined :( .
I might have a look at the specs of a LWB, or I'll have to extend the SWB chassis I have.
I don't want to have to have to cut the moke shell at all if I can help it.

Kenno, i know andy (obviously) had the same problem: Shorten the moke or lengthen the fourby.

He went with lengthening the fourby, i'm sure you could get in contact with him via the moke forum if you want first hand informantion

He built the moke for Mokefest at Wagga in 2009 and he may be back there
for the National Moke Muster at Easter this year.
The rear steering was by elec motor via the switch Matt mentioned so the rear wheels
can steer either way independant from the front.
I may have more photo's but you'll have to wait till I get time to find them, sorry

From what I can see with mine the engine needs to move forwards, maybe move the diffs towards each end and maybe extend the chassie.

he did a good job as others I have seen have moved the seat back a long way
and the fire wall is moved back about a foot or so.
