i'm in the process of buying a 2nd one as a spare, just to park in the oneday spares cupboard...

i figure how long can they be this cheap. first one goes into action later this month...

i've been curious about the different sellers and differences between them so i've been asking a few ebay questions...

the melbs based asi performance say their drain outlet is a plastic tap, so i'll be getting another coolnuts chinese one, i like the machined alloy drain plug...

I can't find the link to the other bloke but that's who I bought mine off of and it is still working well.

Thanks Nick,

Does yours have the plastic tap at the bottom?

Those ones have the plastic tap.

The one I bought has the alloy plug, but it seems that Nuts.Motorsports is no longer a registered user as of last week :? I guess the warranty period is over

Yes mine has the plastic tap at the bottom. It has given me no problems as yet (only been in 6 to 7 months). I will just buy a bolt the right size once the bit of plastic fails but it still looks ok. The rubber seal around the tap is starting to develop a few hairline cracks from the constant heat cycles.

i have been having over heating problems with mini, this is on my everyday mini & im not sure if these rads are any good.

it will sit half way thats fine i drove to toowomba today & the thing overheated was running 3/4 down the highway

i did a test with my old rover rad as well

the rover rad i had **old smoker** got it cleaned out for $50 cooled the car down so much better only run 1/4 on the gauge.

so im not sure if it's the rad or i have another problem?

as i said the rover Rad cooled the car so much better.
