even new coolants in new engines can have problems if they are wrong.
We had the radiator for a brand new engine fitted in a machine at work eaten away by the factory filled coolant before start up! They admitted the goof and fixed it.

The black box marked in big red & white lettering

ALUMINIUM
RACING RADIATOR

When I walked in the door today I saw the box and thought
"I wonder what's in that?" then saw the writing, Doh! :D

I got it today just before I left for work.

Now I'm home I've taken a few pics for anyone's benefit...

Recirculating cap is nice, means you can use a standard non-pressurised plastic overflow bottle if you wish. The neck is machined from solid ally and the cores are huge and narrow. The mirror finish is very nice...

Less than 130 bucks? I'd put it on my car...

I can't believe they would put the time aside to make these things, particualarly when there are so many other (and much more numerous) models of cars to be catered for.

And there's no way they made half a dozen of these things either....there must be a warehouse out there with like a gajillion of these things... (1 gajillion = 10^chuck norris)

Would not this be cheaper?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ALUMINUM ... ccessories

$79.99 US with free delivery as well, meaning $96 AUD.
Same seller, different region listing.

EDIT: I checked and saw it the shipping cost section it says $30 US, have sent a message to seller to clarify. Might be just a lure to get people clicking "Buy it now" without looking.

Mick, you know you will never fit that to the S! I think you need to loan it to me to use in the Moke, for long-term testing. :D
