It works out to be approx 1 foot per 4 hours!
Measure it twice, cut it once as they say!
I dont see the sence in doing it half arsed, you will only have to fix it again down the track!

:( I looked at it and wished i was able to go on the run up to Kinglake........but its mothers day and I would have been "in more trouble than Falsh Gordon" if I was anywhere else but home:!:

redid the c.v. boots ( and actually installed the circlips 8) ) jeeze the first one took me ages............. i figure out ho w to do it tho and the 2nd one took 5 mins.
and test drive all seem s to be ok.. :lol:

I spent the best part of the weekend sorting out a gear lever rattle and floor vibration, when I did the recon run for the GOR Tour I hit a concrete gutter ,unbeknown to me I actually rammed a bolt through the floor. It was only when I was finally happy with how the gear lever was sitting with no rattle that I found the hole where the bolt used to sit by cutting my finger on it, so next weekend its out with the mig welder. I fixed the gear lever by adding two extra washers above the spring and packing grease into the spring, taking the gear lever in and out a few times doesnt sound like it should take long, but its the lining up the four screws through the frame and boot rubber to the floor that takes a while.

Saturday I adjusted Tappets, did up uni joint boots and installed new clutch MC and got it bled and working.
Today I started installing my new wiring loom.... its real purdy like and cotton wrapped. I just need to work out what the hell I am doing... wish me luck!
