Anyways: what Mini engine needs twin 1.75" carbs...?

Mine 8)

I have just done one of these manifolds for 1.75" carbs. Plenty of meat in them.

Need to drill and tap the extra studs to hold the carbs on though

Minimad

Mine as well :D
Why not contact Manilfow(Fabricated Inlet Manifolds UK) and order L149-2XHS4/6-1.75 twin inlet manifold

I figure that a Weber has 45mm throats and the engine never sees them both, so why not twin 44.5mm?

Ok, you got a point ;)

Could you tell me some specs of your motor?

I love the look of twins 8)

Then you might want one of those boobylicious babys:

Image

SU DU6. Two 1.75" carbs with central float in one cast.
A "SU 45 Weber", so to say.

Used on Connaught B-Type, Cooper Climax
and Triumph TRS.

And hey - if you find two of them - tell me ;-D

Cheers,
Jan

That's awesome, weird looking, but awesome 8)

I'm planning my engine atm. It's going into my Morris 1100 'S'. Something along the lines of ~1360cc, twin HIF44's, RE cam ( haven't decided what yet ) backed by an late model auto gearbox

 No need to get them running, just polish them up so they're really shiny 8)

Oh and quick question --- Did the Morris 1100 'S' Automatics have the little 'Automatic' badge on the left of the boot? I've got a spare boot with the auto badge on it 8)
