I went there and said.

"Basically, I am not prepared to pay any money for the work you have done to the wheels."

he says "why not"

I say "The finished product is not what was expected, you told me that some alloys bubble up while powdercoating, and you failed to tell me that when I dropped the wheels off to have them done"

He says "ok, take your wheels and go, and don't bother coming back"

I say "no need to be so immature about the matter"
and turned around and walked out.

So now I have a set of wheels in my loan car (another Magna while my Verada is off for a service) which don't have the greatest finish on them.

Sod that, take a hidden camera and throw a huge tantrum all over their shop, then post it on youtube so we can all watch

on a more serious note, talk to them, be firm, but dont swear at them or show any emotion at all, be calm, collected and tell them why you are unhappy.

In my opinion you still got dicked by them... I mean, they stuffed up and you have a set of ruined wheels. Sure you didn't end up having to pay them to ruin the wheels but they really should have been made to fix them.

For example... if you sent your car to be resprayed and they accidentally put a huge dint in a panel or broke something, would you be happy if they just gave it back to you saying "go away and don't come back"? You'd want it fixed, right?

These two are the worst of the 4... they are the standard (Mini) offset wheels. (Not the LS offset like the other two)













There you go.

Upon bringing them home and having a closer look; the powdercoat is not consistent.
There are patches of dark gold, and then light gold.
You spin the wheel, and you can really see that it is not a very good job whatsoever.
