I have just changed to alloy 4pot 7.5" calipers from 8.4 standard calipers, and the pedal is no where near desirable.
It pulls up fine, but the pedal is crappy.

After changing masters three times (dual circuit) , and also the proportioning valve (due to locking rears before - even with the 5/8 wheel cylinders) the pedal still doesn't come up like it did with the 8.4s.

Have you changed your rear wheel cylinders to 5/8 (assuming it doesn't have them already)

1275LS's used dual circuit MC's with disks, as did late drum braked minis... so they're the same, some Nb racers use dual circuit MC's too... it should work just fine

just check you have the calipers the right way up - the bleeder goes at the top, otherwise you get a nice big air bubble in the top of them that'll never bleed out ;)
