i have a very similar setup but i had GR rework the redline manifold for better flow.

So do you remember what jets you had?

I have a Redline 3005, like Mini Mad's- after my reworking, its flow went from 137 (stock) to 189 CFM on GR's flowbench. It's had more work since...
So yes these can be made to work pretty well. Greig Malaure ran one for years on his racer.
I wouldn'r really call them a gooseneck- that acronym I reserve for the tall POS Lynx one which U can't even SEE thru..

re: supercharged 850
how much does it cost to get a A+....around 1k
how much for the webber and stuff....450
how much to get your engine and gearbox worked that much plus all the extra bits...more then 2 1/2k
if its the car i think it is, it has brand new 12x5 superlites, A539's (new), rose jointed and fully ajustable suspension and steering, full retrim interior, cams approved 4 point cage, new carpets, fresh resray, has'nt got a single bit of rust.. the guy has receipts for every $ spent on the car
and im sure the cars not geting sold with the engine, he is stripping it to sell it, no body makes back what they spend on cars like that, he spent over 15k doing it up
so in my opinion i think its worth more then 5k...and that engine is bulletproof..worth more then 2.5
im aware you probly didnt know these things about the stuff for sale, so dont take it the wrong way.

Youre right.... there are quite a few more bits on there than I first thought.... so maybe 6 to 8 thousand, depending.

But remember - what something COST and what something is WORTH are 2 different things.

You could spend $100,000 on a 60's mini and it would still not be worth more than 25 grand to anybody else...... ever. BUT... split it up, sell every bit off individually and you COULD get alot more than 25 grand back.

Unfortunately, that is just how it is. Parts individually will get the seller more money than having it all bolted together as one car. And selling things that are now used will not help the resale value at all.

All that matters is that BOTH parties walk away from the transaction with a smile on their face, and keep that smile for a long time.

Offer whatever you FEEL it is worth to YOU. Thats what I do.
