Thought someone might like something a bit different. I think its a 1.8 litre and the same engine used in Lancers?? Dont know if it would fit?? Also looks like a bit of dodgy bidding.

Looks like it doesnt come with a gearbox - motor only.

If the gearbox is the same one off the 4G63, then it wont fit, as the gearbox is too long.

However, the 4G93 does mate up to the Proton persona and wira. These I would suspect, would be a lot more compact than the Lance/Galant gearbox.

The guy says he has the gearbox for sale, why not buy both, or at least get a measurement.

Regards,
Andrew

Gearbox is the same Mitsubishi item as in the Lancer
(Proton used all Mitsubishi Lancer running gear)

AWDMoke,

Isnt the gearbox in the Wira and Persona different to the Lancer/Galant?

I was of the understanding there was a difference between the two.

Or do they all use the same gearbox as found mated to the 4G63?

Regards,
Andrew

Yeah the later cars have different boxes etc
The early Protons (i.e. this Satria motor) is a direct Lancer transplant.
