your fuel economy figures are way off
especially if you "never change gear below 4k"
infact it is usually illegal to be going that many rpm in anything but 1st or maybe 2nd gear
I do believe the word used was "rarely".
Obviously i'm not driving around in top gear at 4000rpm @ 110km/h
4000rpm is around 60km/h in 2nd, you would obviously change into top gear and settle into a cruise..
Car idles at 1600rpm, my RE-13 doesn't come on cam until 2700rpm. I certainly ain't going to be changing gear as soon as it get's on cam. Taking it to 4000rpm in each change before i reach the speed limit is stroking it along in 1000rpm of the on cam powerband. I don't know about your's but my 1098 is pretty smooth and it loves it.
Changing at or around 4000rpm will give me 250-300km per tank. If i change considerably higher and floor it everywhere and brake hard ect..that figure can drop to 180km.
