Hi im from the Uk im origanally from Scotland but i live in England at the moment. Im realy intrested in this conversion. I dont think i have seen one in the Uk before at all and im realy thinking of doing it when im a bit older. So im gonig to start looking out for information on it now while i can. If any one can help me out in any way at all that would be great u can add me on MSN ([email protected]) if its possible i would like pics and diagrams if anyone has any that is. I buy MiniWorld and MiniMag i got to say they are great but they dont give u info that u need as soon as i seen Brads Clubman i know right away i want to try it thanks in advance 8)

Another fan of Brads mini eh? You will find heaps of pics & info already posted on here - you've come to the right place.

Good to see you are planning it out properly. You should have few problems, as the UK seems to be a lot less stringent than Oz when it comes to conversions.

Hi Dan,

Glad you like the feature on my mini mate. There are a few ways to go about a conversion for a mini. First you will need a mini, clubman prefered as there is lots more room, but a few guys here are getting very close to putting them in a round nose.

Then you will need a subframe made, most people use the standard mini frame and cut it off from the suspension towers forward and run a new tube steel frame to house the 3 engine mounts needed for the engine.

Then once the engine is in place you will need driveshafts to be made, fuel lines run, water lines, brake lines, wiring, ect.
