ready to put my foot through my dash i hate it ahhhh
so i tried to make a better one but nope didnt succeed so after all the stuffing around taking the old one out had to put it back in so now the fuel guage doesnt work that means the speedo, fuel and temp guages all dont work now as well as the light behind the speedo which was working. So today cause i had one idea how much fuel i had tried to fix the fuel guage take the dash off again fiddle with the wires and it works so put the dash back on check it nope doesnt work ahhhhh    so angry
now there is a rattling sound behind the dash.

so if anyone would like to give me a dash for a clubby feel free too....

No worries, I had no joy today with Lillee either. Spend 1 hour on my back under her trying to pop the pot joint with no luck... sore, tyred and frustrated now... and still no car to drive

Sympathy to you on the dash rage.
I have a fuel gauge that don't work to. every time i try to fix it something else in the dash goes to poo. So i end up spending half the day fixing that instead......
I even spat on lil last time for being so mean, when all i was trying to do was fix her.
Try again next week is all i can sugest.

There was a smaller mini specialist in the industrial area on the western side of the motorway at Currumbin , turn off where the new big loop thing is and then right at the servo , then right again . Can't remember the name but it was still there a couple of years ago , normally 3-4 mokes and mini's scattered around the front , fairly helpful guy to deal with and a lot of bit's up stairs .
