of course i dont take it personally people like dean would be very very busy! and thats cool! i dont want to ruin a classic so im just going to wait for the right roundie van to come along so ill be happy knowing a clubby loving person will have the opportunity to buy a lovely lovely van like GRs

theomen, did steve tell you what exactly is involved with the front end conversion? I'm curious - people always say if you want a roundie, buy a roundie, but I got my little clubby for $100, and don't want to look a gift horse in the mouth (also very attached already).
Either that or fibreglass flip front...but I don't know the specifics of what needs to happen :lol:

hey erin!
steve hadn't done one himself but said that with a rover front end it is weld off weld on to the best of his knowledge...

ie you'd weld off the clubman front then along the seams you'd weld the new rover front on... he said if it wasn't a rover front end you'd need to make mods to the wheel area but in the case of a rover front from his understanding it would be a matter of finding a panel beater to do it... + you'd need to buy a bonnet and grill etc if you bought his rover front end...

alas! i dont have the time at the moment for such a project hence i was looking for a complete van if one was around! hehe the waiting's killing me but im sure it'll be worth it! :D
