What do people think about this idea????

Its cheap, easy to find, spare parts galore..... yep, straight out of an Audi TT. Okay, so it was chopped a bit to fit...... but even in this state it looks quite appealing.

Knee space may be restricted however.....

Probably the nicest dash ive seen attempted in a mini. Would be nice for a road car. Not nice for your wallet.

Depend how neatly you can fit it in. The right hand airoutlet looks hard to make good, but you could trim as much from the front as you want to move it forward as those edges can be hidden. You may be right about knee room for the drive, but could just be hacked away and tidied up as it's not visible when you're driving.

PS Your left hand wheel spacer is too big,

I was thinking Fiesta before I read TT.
It doesn't look too bad, considering where it's at.

Looks very Schmick. :D

But how are you doing the speedo and other gauges to fit in the normal audi speedo bit? I assume you can't use the original as that would all be electronic. Or are you custom making a frame/mount for yours? :?
