Have you tried a Gti modifed to fit Gti radiator?
Is this engine using an oil cooler?

This is the big problem, LACK OF SPACE. Atleast your going into a clubby, its even tighter in the round nose. What size/sort of intercooler are you using?

I may be way off line, but in speedway racing I have seen a baffel place in the top and bottom tanks of the radiator, it directs the flow and circulates the water in a "s" pattern, not just random water movement top to bottom - we also used this method in a crane we put a turbo on, it helped lower the temp.

Moke 'n' Andy do you mean the water will travel from end to end all way through the rad like the gas does in an airconditioning coil? Meaning at each end of the rad it will need a return bend to get the water to the next layer? Till it reaches the bottom and exits??

yes, but you only put 2 baffels (blanking plated) in the tank - top and bottom in a staggered vertical alignment. It directs the flow, making it travel ionger through the cooling fins.

I have seen this in speedway - there will also be a relation ship between radiator size, number of coils, air flow and engine size. Not sure how to calculate the relation ship.
