I love the smell of kero!

Which way is the wind blowing?
I was watching from over the road one day when 3 F111 were landing (or trying to) with the wind coming from the north! 2 got down and one almost got down and then he went around!

My mum used to work in the PMG (telephone exchange) in Richmond in the late 50's when they had Vampires and Sabres doing laps! (and Neptunes and DC3s) The planes would fly over and they couldn't hear a thing!
She loved it!
