Don’t think I can add anything more. I’d only be repeating myself. I’ve presented all the evidence I have in photos and documents. Others can make their own decision and choice.

First a temp at this stage.

More than happy with the choice of tape.

Very nice, looks great. Have a look at Winabbey's second picture on page 1 of this thread. The piece that goes over the three screw holes is separate to the bottom piece. Mine was the same (IMG_0436 - Copy (Medium).jpg) in my post.

Cheers ausdino.
Yes I agree with what your saying and have also asked winabbey a couple of more questions.
I'm thinking maybe some of the areas to be covered had more than one strip of crape tape to cover the open area? but couldn't tell as they are missing in your photo's that you kindly posted.

My bad actually. I had removed a few pieces before I took the pics. If you look at the second of the pics I posted on page one...
1. the piece with the window winder is two parts (you can see the overlap)
2. the piece with the door lock mechanism was 3-4 pieces, one was a patch maybe ? - same type of material
Other narrower holes (and longer) were one piece.
I'll put the doors on stands over Christmas and take some more pics if you like. You can see where the tape/coverings were. The pic on page two of the thread of the left door, might be of use to demonstrate this.

I'd really appreciate that offer and for taking time out to set the doors up for the photo's
Photo's are a really big help when it comes to the hidden details/finishing.
Many Thanks
