No idea. It's just another one of those weird things. He will probably spend the next 10 years telling everyone how I attacked Repco.

I am happy to admit that my google cut & paste skills have failed me tonight and I have got Repco & Ryco mixed up.
Saying that my original point still stands.
Morris 1100, can you please explain why "Ryco doesn't care about quality"
That is an rather bold statement, considering RYCO make millions of filters a year and are the number one selling filter in Australia.

& FYI - https://www.rycofilters.com.au/about_heritage

You wonder how can I say that Ryco doesn't care about quality in a thread about Ryco leaving essential seals out of filter kits?
If they cared about quality they would include these seals just like every other manufacturer does.

Ryco doesn't make millions of filters a year. They sell millions of filters made by the lowest bidder at a huge markup and rely on their old reputation for quality.
They are simply a brand name.

I used to be a big supporter of Ryco products. But I can't see any point in paying double for another import just because it's in a red box and half the seals are missing.

Didn't similar things happen with Repco?

What brand or brands of cartridge filter still include the 2 little seals, either for the S or the Australian Ryco made filter unit?

Repco filter has the 2 seals - according to the picture on their website. Don't know how well they fit

Yep , Repco was taken over by corporate raiders and split up and sold off. The Repco company is currently owned by the American GPC group who owns the NAPA parts stores. The NAPA name will probably eventually replace the Repco name.

I recently ordered 2 R2200P Ryco filters for the K. I was charged $25 each and that included a discount! I assume I was charge a courier fee for each one.
At AutoPro they are $16 and in stock.
