Those who frequent the VMCI Facebook group will know all about the incredible effort by Echuca-Moama's Jarrod Lowe who worked tirelessly in recent months to complete a very special Mini restoration. His story featured in today's Riverine Herald.

Here's a short introduction from yesterday's newspaper.

If you are a Facebook user do yourself a favour and spend some time reading through Jarrod's posts, starting at the oldest. You'll see that his was an incredible labour of love, a drive that kept him going in sometimes very difficult circumstances.

Hopefully we can get a good resolution copy of today's two page article linked as it tells the whole story.

The following text and picture about his first Hay experience was posted by Jarrod on the VMCI Facebook page. What an amazing and well-deserved achievement.

Borderline speechless tonight, without dad on my shoulder and without the support and generosity of the vic mini club this would not of been possible.

To be able to come to my first Hay Mini Nationals and come away with

~ Hay Councils Choice Award
~ Peoples Choice Award
~ Best Modified Mini
~ Rookie Driver of the Year for Motorkhana

Again an extra special thanks to Leanne Coakley and Jeremy Coakley for letting me drive their car.

So close to the GBS win for Victoria, one point away from the win.

Forever greatful....

... and earlier some pics with his Mum and family.

What can i say other than thankyou so very much to the entire Vic Mini team for the weekend so far at the Hay Nationals. The fact i hadnt met anyone from the club in person and to be welcomed like a family member was an extremely nice thing.

Special thanks to Leanne Coakley and Jeremy Coakley for allowing me to to steer “COOPAS” today in the Motorkhana

And Dan McFly Miles for holding my hand today, and to Krystian Jackson, your just ok mate
