Evening gents.

I was just wondering what is the best product for bitumous seam sealing, you know the stuff BMC used for the internal seams - boot floor, battery box & various spots inside the car. I have chiseled off the massive gobs of the old original black goo to enable new floors to be welded in, not wishing to start a fire!. I'd rather not use a silicon sealer as I find body paint won't stick to it.

Any comments appreciated.

I would use Sikaflex 291 it's flexible but you can paint over it.You can get it in black or white.
Also handy stuff for sticking the seam covers on and keeping water out.

Doc is correct as usual, any urethane sealer is ok it will adhere to paint or bare metal push it in with your finger then use a small applicator to make it look neat. Paint the floor with stone guard both sides any body color can go over the top. It is best to use a 2 pack epoxy primer on bare metal. The mini will last 200 years provided you don't write it off.
