Hi All
A quick question for the brains trust. I’m replacing the rear wheel bearing and I’m not sure which way the seal is supposed to go. The Haynes Manual shows it with the groove/lip on the inside towards the bearing but that is in the old ball bearings. The appendix specifically mentions the lip facing away on the roller bearing used on the 1275GTS. The one I removed was the newer style taper bearing but the lip was facing inwards.
