I would check the kit has been fitted properly.
The shocker bolt looks too small for the bracket as it looks like you can see part of the bolt hole.
And I would monitor the crack for growth, as it looks old.

The load for the upper shock mount will not be going into the inner panel, it will be taken by the cross member. but even that is a piss poor method of mounting the bracket through 4 1/4 bolts on what is usually a hidden rust spot! These coil over kits scare me in the way there designed and then fitted by some one unskilled or even mechanically sympathetic ( I realize this is not everyone!) The front mounts should be beefed up at least and better to weld a bracket to the subframe tower and place the load where it belongs on the subframe not the body. The rear mount is the same, the load is placed onto a point designed for a damper mount NOT the full suspension load, failure here would be an instant disaster at speed! Including the possibility of introducing the the damper to the fuel tank and all that that would entail.....................

Is the inside of the shock body hitting the body under load? The photo makes the shock & bracket look very close to the inner wing...

the knock was there before the coils were installed. tehyve been on there maybe 500km. so the cracks are preobably old. but i originally just wanted to go back to hi lows.
