Hi all,

I'm looking for street legal dot approved semi slick tyre for 13inch wheels.

Something like toyo proxies r888 that can be found in most other sizes.

I'm not chasing 10/10ths or racing for sheep stations, just looking for something that will allow some safe spirited driving while still being a legal road tyre.
I want something that will expire after a handful of heat cycles.
Just something that looks the part and a street performer first, track day tyre second.

I'm sure this has been thrashed out before, but I'm new here and my search skills frankly aren't great.

Many thanks in advance.

Sound great. But I can't seem to find them in 13s.
Where do you get them from?

Any other ideas also welcome.

Thanks

They are no longer E-marked (Euro version of DOT) for legal road use. From memory they are too loud according to the testing

I've heard these ones might be alright, and are available in 175/50R13. Might be easier to get in Australia?

Pity about the yokos not being fit approved they look the part.

I guess the nankangts make the short list. Thanks!

I know some guys here have 13x8inch wheels with toyo tires R888 though I forgot what size. Try to use the search function. If you are decided to get the Nankang's, please don't forget to post a short review. I'm curious about their road performance.

Correct A048's are not dot marked.

I bought Nankang NS-2R.

They looked like the best minispares offered. So I bought them.

Cant complain so far, but haven't really done any spirited driving
