Considering you could end up with little change from $80k to have one built from scratch, this seems like a very cheap option.
A weekend at the track costs me around $1500 in consumables, allowing for tyres, pads, fuel and a portion of maintenance as well as entry. That doesnt include the days I spend prepping the car, corner weighting, wheel alignment, nut and bolt etc etc. If you are thinking of racing and don't have the budget to buy one in the first place, this seems like a bargain.

No More rent a car ,the gentle man looked at the car said "I don't want to rent it I want to buy it" car gone.
So that's another full time car we have to join the ranks of mini racing and another one for MORGAN PARK,
If they all turn up we should have 25 to 30 cars for the mini race.
So now we have to build another rent a car

If I read properly...I would expect to see this particular car up here on the darling downs in the near future? Oh my...going to see a GR special regularly...I do hope it is prepped for the David Hack meeting on the 7 May at Toowoomba airport.

1:09 is mental. my race civic (although having a few issues) has run a 1:09. I can only imagine how much more fun it is in a mini haha!

And I have fun jsut on the streets.
