If the plates that came with my mini where unable to be transferred I was going to get "oileak" ... available at prickroads

I really like: "OILEAK" that's pretty clever. I can't steal that one now though... I probably would have if it was pm'ed. haha

I did have an older BMW Mini R53, if I still had that, I'd have gone for "ITSY" & "BITSY", both those available at VICROADS so if Brett ever moves down our way, you're welcome. PS. Nice garage btw.

Speaking of PS. "PSMINI" also still available at VICROADS too, but no one would ever get the "PS" was for "Paul Smith" MINI, and then I'd have to explain it evey time I filled up for fuel.

The other one I like is "MSQITO" as in mosquito also available at VicRoads.

I could use "DIMIS" as the have those from a former car, but I might go with "GUTSY" (a mates plate), as "FEISTY" is taken, and I think in a hilarious way actually suits the car.

Any other ideas and thoughts welcome.

Thanks

When we bought Claude, our Cooper S 970, in New Zealand it still had it's original 1964 Kiwi plates on it.
I remember going back to the hotel in Christchurch after we did the deal with the owner and got on the VicRoads website. The Kiwi plates were white letters and numerals on a black background. I tried to get custom Vic plates to match and bugger me they were available.
We shipped Claude to Melbourne, got a roadworthy, screwed on the Vic plates and got him registered. We then took Claude home and put the original Kiwi plates on him.

CZ 4289

There is a guy in NZ with the brother car to Claude, another 970. Both cars were registered on the same day in Auckland in 1964 and his plates are CZ 4290. I have a foto of them together somewhere....i must fish it out.

How nuts is that?

I remember seeing it on here so I just searched your previous posts.

Easy peasy as Matt Read would say. :)

In QLD I have two sets of plates for Minis. Ones on my Convertible "MINNIE" and on my Orange mini I have MIN1.
MINNIE is for sale.
