I've seen models of Peter Manton's Neptune Mini but has anyone seen a model of his Shell sponsored Mini in either pale blue or yellow?

Dumb question! I've just found pictures of both.

The next question (which is way more sensible) is "does anyone know where I may be able to source one of each?".

Can't you start with say, a tamiya mini and paint it up in the correct colours etc?

I really don't have the patience or skill to do a decent job on a small model that would be good enough to display. Commissioning someone to do it is a very expensive option and I can understand why.

The models of Bathurst cars go for less than $100 which is fine price wise but apparently the Manton car is not available from this source.

Looks like I'll just have to let this "would be nice to have in the collection" rest for a while.
