Hey guys,

I plan on making a police replica. I have a clubman, and i think there used to be police clubmans in the UK.
I can't seem to find any photos, and i want to make a replica.

If anyone has any information or photos, please post them as it will be a really great help.

Also what are people thoughts?

Cheers Alex.

I don't recall ever seeing a UK Police Mini in Clubman style. Every article and photo to date shows the round-nose. Lots of photos of these online, or I can send you some.

NSW Police used the Clubman GT as an unmarked pursuit car, and standard Clubmans as station and escort vehicles, like in the photo below.

There were few Clubman cars built in the UK. Made for only 10? years then dropped. They kept making round nose ones as well, and these carried on until 2000.

That's one in the photo above.

They were used for non-pursuit work, so delivering summons, escorting wide loads, general police station administrative work, etc.

Great idea but check the regs before you go too far.

Is that a seat belt I see dangling from the passengers door?

Cheers

If I'm carrying on like a pork-chop, I'm having a great time.

If I go very quiet there's a very good chance I broke something.

Like a lot of other rules, I believe Police were exempt from wearing them, operating 2 way radios etc etc
