Does anyone know how much these Dave Armstrong Motors wheels cost?

Not sure if Jason has any of Dave Armstrong wheels left. He took orders prior to getting them made. You would need to call him to find out, Salisbury South SA.

I've reread the post again and I just wondering, it says that the wheel will just clear Cooper S callipers without major grinding. Does this mean that no modifications are required or minor modifications are required?

I'm guessing no modifications. The amount that you have to shave off calipers to fit contessas is minute so I'd imagine none at all with these. You will need stepped drums at the back to match the front, thats about it

it could depend on your brakeline also. If previously restored due to thread degradation then some of the replacement adapters are fairly wide ( not 8 or 10mm) and so you may have to cut a corner off the nipple end

Do they come with centre caps and wheel nuts or are they extra?

Price inc centre cap & wheel nuts is $205 per wheel.

It is made from a new die & most importantly there
is no need to grind down your caliper as has been the case
in some applications such as on group N cars.

Any images of the charcoal colour?
Are they available/stocked anywhere else? Melbourne?

A couple of questions, before I get too excited.

-Will they clear 4-pot brakes, such as KAD?
-Any photos of them fitted to vehicles without flares?
-Is there a distributor in Adelaide, so as to arrange a test-fit?

Cheers,
Stuart

Do these have bead seats that make it legit to not use inner tubes? Is that the 'J' in the rim size?

Cooper S wheels are4.5 J, and do not have `bead seats'. I have never seen bead seats on a 10" wheel.
`J' defines the rim cross section profile, well size etc. Early Mini wheels are 3.50 B, their well diameter is about 1/8" smaller than on a J wheel.
I used to split 3.50B rims and roll the well out to make Cooper S wheels widies, back when legal in the 60s.

Thread revival!

Has anyone tried these wheels over Minisport 7.9 Vented 4 pot brakes?
