Can someone direct or advise what is required to meet L02 (Pre 1972 Imported Vehicle Safety Compliance) modification requirements?

I get a different story from each person I ring at QLD Transport and Engineers around Brisbane.

Can any Brisbane Mini mechanics provide L02 modification plates/inspections?

Thanks.

Hi,

Get the Tansport dept to send you a copy of the regs on paper. They should also be a ble to supply a complete list of the workshops who can do the mods, and issue the mod plate.

Glen Carpenter does later import minis and gets them mod plated, (but i find him less than satisfactory, personal opinion on him as a person only) Don't know of any others.

Good Luck
Matt

for anyone who is interested, to get a hard copy of all light vehicle modification requirements the general public can go to a QLD Transport customer service centre and view it or you can purchase it from GoPrint - catalogue # M7585 - Code of Practice - Light Motor Vehicles (~$80)

link : https://www.publications.qld.gov.au/Pro ... duct=M7585

Should save anyone else a few hours on the phone.

I had em send me the 15 pages for seatbelt installation (fitting rear belts in the mini), so they may be able to photocopy the right section if you only need a small part.

Of course, it hasn't arrived yet

But I've only been waiting a couple of days.
