Dellorto 45. Goes as hard as a Weber 45 (on road cars anyhow) but gives slightly better fuel economy. And they are cheaper to find S/H. 8)
Fit it, jet it, forget it. :P

OTOH... second choice- twin HS4s. Quieter, but a PITA to get spot on and keep that way.

The word BLING comes to mind.

Twin SUs but I have to say I've only had them or the singles so not much of a good case study.

`tis a pity to butcher a nice Weber like that..
These days most racers don't bother. With a decent manifold, they get just as many gee-gees from a single. :P

Yeah I saw they were on eBay again too... and they sold.

The one that is cut was already unrepairably damaged on that side, before it was chopped to suit. No loss at all.

Single 1 3/4 Su HIF win me as it is great in power and bloody good on fuel. Better then my Twins which have to be tuned all the time. No Comments on webber as I have not owned one. My Mate that has one says it uses a lot of Fuel but I think it is not set up right.
