 Post subject: Lower arm bushes,

The collars of the lower arm bushes , are coming away , or piling away! , they tell me it's the stress of the camber and caster, on the bushes, do I need to worry , or are they ok with the collars piled away .cheers Fred.

The rubber will be fine inside, the outer bit you see is probably just cracked from weather exposure.
When I replaced mine last year the old bushes looked like that, but were fine.
Note this is with the later tapered bushes (1967 on?) with the steel bush inside. May not apply to the early parallel flanged ones.

Thanks dr mini, it's a 78 mini clubman' it's hard to get info, when you live in North Queensland ,! I appreciate any info I get , if it was a Holden it would be easy . Cheers Fred.
