Folks,
I'm looking to blank off the distributor hole now that I have a new ignition system, but most of what's available is for A series (I have A+). Does anyone know what the dizzy diameter is? I'm thinking about using a good old fashioned welch plug (with suitable sealant!). Thanks.

PM `benjamin' on here, he sells a Bling CNC machined billet alloy blanking plug for this, pretty cheap.

Thanks Doc. Ben is soon to supply me with a new manifold, so I'll ask him, but I understood that he was only doing a non-A plus version. Cheers.

~26.9mm or whatever that comes up as in imperial.

1 1/16" by me. Thanks. Have also heard from Benjamin that he can do an A+ plug.
Cheers.

Diameter of dizzy body A series and A+ should be the same.
I had a Pulsar dizzy in my A series, I then put it into the 1275 A+ by just changing its drive dog and using the A+ finger clamp.

I just remeasured the diameter and got 26.9mm again. I'm measuring the shaft of the A series dizzy which slides into the block.

I suppose you mean the hole once the dizzy support adapter thingo is removed.

I didn't consider the dizzy itself, no need for the adapter thingo if you're gonna take the dizzy and drive out

best to take the drive out as it doesn't really have any bearing support if the dizzy isn't in there

A+ has no adapter is straight in the block.

For a series Plugs the adapter and drive shaft need to be removed and then the plugs fills the larger hole.

For anyone else wondering I have A-series plugs available and will have A+ within the week.

A+ Plug > removes the need for clamp.
