Post subject:  Competent engine builder in SA?

Hey All

i love doing my own stockies however when it comes to a fast road or a race build I get someone who really knows what they are doing for obvious reasons.

The only hassle is that my usual place actually stuffed something up last time around and I no longer have confidence in them (to be fair to them I will not name them)

so my question is, who in Adelaide area can build em good? suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Cheers
Scott

Rhemac.
End of question!

edit: if you're whinging about price, you obviously don't want good service and good quality.

Wasn't a dig at you, just generalising.

What have you got in the pipeline?

Chris Milton has done a bit of machining and building work for me in the past on both Mini and Rover V8s. Costly but competent and very conveniently located ((just up the street from me).

Gower also did good head and engne assembly work for me in the past when he had a workshop out at Windsor Gardens, but he closed that business a few years ago and went to work in the engine building shop at City Dismantlers. Anyone know if he's re-opened his own business again?

all cool brother!

I'm putting together a strong street 1380 and need stuff like block drilled to fit my 11stud aeg163, port work on the aeg163, wedging and balancing the en40b etc etc I have no time frame for this project as I just want to do it right....
