I thought about doing ir using a forklift gas bottle (not sure of the legalities)
but decided there was little advantage over EFI with the subie motor.

You guys with the turbo motors should think about it though:
high octane equivalency (around 108) and a nice cool intake charge

I had a HJ Premier ...
253 V8
Straight LPG (Gasresearch Throttle Bodies)
Twin KKK Turbochargers
Garrett 45mm Wastegate

660Hp @ FLywheel ....

Flat 12's in total street trim (Bridgestone SF Eager tyres)

Gas Rocks...

It has a lower calorific value and requires a LOT more ignition advance, but get the boost up and its almost magic .... unless you get a little bit of oil contamination in the mix, then your octane turns to shite and detonation sets in ....

Its on my "Maybe" list for Rota-moke ..... Makes engineering much easier to pass - Close to ZERO emissions .......

Oh, and Rotas love Gas....

Cool 8)

They're doing nice stuff with liquid phase injection these days,
might go that way on the next project :)
