no you would have to extend the mini in every direction to get it to look right, you can put it on the nissan chassis but it will look like those big 4x4 trucks with mini bodies on them. You could get all the running gear, shorten the driveshafts and extend the engine bay a little and have a 4x4 turbo mini ![]() |

hehehe "tell him hes dreamin" not even a wiiiiiiiiide body kit and a shorter wheel base could do it? I dont know much about the gtirs, do they have a solid chassis or 2 subframes? are u able to lift the shell off and leave the running gear like a vw? cheers |

damn..... $4K 'eh.... tempting - I measured up an SR20, I reckon the turbo would have to move cos it sits really low, but it's do-able. It measured about 65cm from the turbo to the back of the diff housing. There's the running gear for one at my local wreckers for $2.5K, but it's not as easy as getting a complete car... do it Besser! |

Nothing is impossible... some things are just more difficult & expensive! The Pulsars don't even have subframes as such - monocoque construction with cross members. It would not need to look like a monster truck, or even need a full chassis like my Moke (unless it was for off road use as well). IMHO keep the original track & fit monster flares (cheaper than custom driveshafts & will handle all that power better). Shorten the tailshaft to keep the mini wheelbase, or perhaps move the front wheels a little further forward so that the engine will clear the firewall. Would be easier to fit a custom extended f'glass front to suit once assembled. You will need to sort out how you can mount the Pulsar struts, especially at the front without sticking out the bonnet. Speak to an engineer first - you will need a lot of custom bracing / mounts, and probably an integral roll cage to stiffen the shell. But most importantly, DO IT ![]() Mike |

nah, modify mini subframes to take the motor like the swift/honda/starlet conversions - it's transverse anyway, it ought to fit inside a standard mini track, from memory it's about 90cm wide |
