What are the main differences between a 1275 A+ engine and a 1100S engine? I'm planing on boring it to .94thou (1360cc) and wedging the crank then putting the BMW twinky head on it.
From memory the 1100S has larger journal crank better suited to stroking but unmodded are more likely to break at high RPM...is that correct?
Also the rods are heavier so it would be better to get them lightning?
Are their any other differences that will effect a high performance road engine :?:
