 Post subject: Which ring goes on top?

OK so I have set of GR's pistons and one ring is lighter coloured and has a angle on the outer (scraper ring?). The other one is darker and has square edge on outer.

I know I should call GR but have already today about other things and don't want to sound like I am a complete *&%^head . . . which I am. :D

If the rings from GR are in a plain box they would be Nippon rings.
Is there an N mark on the compression rings? According to the link below, this goes up ^^^

Thanks Kev - rings have 'R 200' on both. Called in the see the guy that builds my Monaro engines and he was confident in writing to the top and the darker ring in the second slot:

Yep, that top ring is hardchromed. Goes in top groove.

Are there No Instructions like all other ring manufacturer's supply with their products?
